About This Site

chromebookscheme.online is a small, independent guide to one thing: checking your record for the PM Youth Chromebook Scheme 2026, and understanding what happens before and after you submit.

The scheme gives 500,000 Chromebooks to students of government and public schools in Pakistan. Selection runs through the education boards, and the official checking point is the portal at pmychromebooks.ibcc.edu.pk, run with IBCC. That setup confuses a lot of families. Students expect a normal application form, but the portal works differently: your board record has to exist first, and you confirm it with your CNIC or B-Form number, or your roll or registration number, plus your date of birth.

So this site sticks to the questions students actually ask us. How do I check if my record is there? What does it mean when nothing shows up? Which mistakes spoil a submission? What happens while I wait after submitting? Each guide here answers one of those questions in plain words, with the steps in the order you would do them.

What we are, and what we are not

We are an unofficial information guide. We are not the Government of Pakistan, we are not IBCC, and we are not connected to any education board. We cannot check your record for you, add your name to any list, speed up a decision, or change a submitted application. Only the official portal and your board can do those things.

What we can do is explain the process clearly, warn you about the traps we keep seeing — oversized document files, wrong dates of birth, fake websites charging fees — and point you to the right place for each step. When this guide and the official portal ever disagree, trust the portal.

Who this site is for

It is written for government school students in Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Baluchistan who are in Grade 9, and for students in Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Islamabad and Gilgit-Baltistan who are in Grade 9 or Grade 10 — and for the parents and teachers helping them check a record on a phone at home.

Start on the homepage for the full picture, or go straight to the record check guide if your numbers are in front of you and you are ready to begin.
